TOUCH 2009 Leadership Camp Description • Camp Activities :
Campers are expected to participate in various activities, including:
+ Workshops: Conflict management workshop, Goal setting workshop, … These workshops are designed to help campers better know themselves, and improve inter-personal skills and management and conducting skills.
+ Game stations: The games’ objective is to bring out the leadership quality in campers and provide them with a chance to apply theory to reality context. This educational experience will also highlight the importance of campers’ guiding values and their practical usage.
+ Peer-learning and reflection: Campers in the same group and the assigned facilitators are to observed strengths and weaknesses of fellow campers to help their friends improve as well as to learn from the experience. Reflection sessions will be conducted frequently throughout the camp to facilitate self-evaluation
• Target group:
The camp is designed to benefit 35-40 student leaders aged 15 to 19, who will be divided into 5 groups of 7-8 campers. Each group of campers will have 2-3 attached facilitators, who will act as their guides and mentors throughout the camp period. • Agenda (tentatively):
The camp is to start at 5h30am on Friday, 07/08/09 and to end at 12am on Sunday, 09/08/09. Campers are required to stay at campsite during 3 days of camp. Exceptional cases could be discussed before the camp starts. TOUCH helps admitted campers on asking approval from parents. TOUCH Leadership Campsite is Green Club Resort - Phuoc Tan - Long Thanh - Dong Nai. Campers must gather at 139 Nguyen Du street. Dist. 1, 5h30am Friday 7 August. We will take you to the campsite by traveling bus. Campers are expected to pay a fee (250.000 VND). This amount includes accommodation, transportation, food, drink and others logistic.
